-Laughing Out Loud

This is one of my favourite movies. It's a french romantic-comedy.
For all those who haven't seen it yet...
I'm going to tell you a little what this film is about.


The wonderful cast:

Lola is a 15 year old girl. Her boyfriend, Arthur, cheats on her and their relationship ends. But then Lola starts to like Maël. (Maël is Arthurs best friend) They fancy each other but maybe starting a relationship isn't as simple as it seems.

Lolas parents just got divorced and her mom has her own problems with men and obviously with her teenage daughter Lola.
During the movie Lola experiments with drugs. She also goes trought the phase when she starts to get interested about sex. She shares her thoughts with her friends and her private diary.

Sophie Marceau plays the role of Anne (Lolas mom).
Christa Theret is Lola and Jérémy Kapone plays the role of Maël.
The director of the film is Lisa Azuelos.
The soundtrack is magnificent. It includes songs from bands as "The Rolling Stones", "Keane", "Supergrass".
The main songs in the movie are the ones "Maël" sings with his band.

This year (2011) will be released a remake directed also by Lisa Azuelos.
Lola will be played by Miley Cyrus, her mother will be Demi Moore. The role of Maël will be played by Jean-Luc Bilodeau. Other actors like Adam G Sevani and Ashley Greene also play in the movie.
